Bushra Mustafa is a seasoned Technology Lead with a wealth of experience in both product and project management. Bushra oversees a diverse range of products and projects while leading service delivery to partner organizations. As a dedicated technology lead, Bushra successfully delivers product milestones and project deliverables, overseeing scope identification, business analysis, software testing, training delivery, and stakeholder coordination. Her recently concluded project involved spearheading the development of the HCAI Surveillance Application in collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
In her prior role as a Program Coordinator, Bushra effectively managed the delivery of program objectives, including curriculums, activities, and milestones. She adeptly navigated program partner expectations to ensure the success of various initiatives, contributing to the development of impactful reports and blog posts highlighting key metrics and the overall success of program delivery. Notably, Bushra played a pivotal role in leading two cycles of the KP Women Civic Digital Internship Program, Code for Pakistan's flagship women-focused program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Under her leadership, 50 interns were onboarded for a Civic Digital Internship Program focused on skills development and training in the IT and Technology sector. The program has collaborated significantly with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board, the World Bank, and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.
Bushra also successfully executed the TECH-NIH Fellowship program in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health and its division, the Transformation and Excellence Centre for Health.
Bushra's professional journey commenced as a Digital Marketing Fellow for the KP Civic Innovation Fellowship Program in 2017. Prior to her role at Code for Pakistan, she held diverse positions, including Content Curator/Social Media Executive at Maven Logix (Pvt.) Ltd., Editor for Daastan (a self-publishing platform), and Marketing Fellow for PITB's tech accelerator, Plan9. She also contributed to Turing Technologies as a Program Associate and freelanced with numerous local and international clients, showcasing her versatility as a content curator, proofreader, copywriter, and translator.
In addition to her rich professional background, Bushra is a prolific writer, contributing regularly to local publications. She holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar. She is a Gold Medalist in Project Management (Master's degree) from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology.
