Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.
A: Hello, I am Ayesha Riaz from Peshawar. I have a master’s degree in Computer Science and have worked for 5 years in my field. I am happy to be a part of the Fellowship Program this year and I hope to build my capacity and network with technical people. I love reading and listening to music. When it comes to working, I am diligent, consistent, and dedicated.
Q: Why Computer Sciences? Why not something else?
A: Computer Science has always been one of my favorite subjects.
Q: Tell me about something you struggled with early in your career and how you overcame it.
A: When I got an internship, my research skills were fairly weak, but with time and support from my colleagues I overcame this weakness.
Q: What is your biggest achievement in your professional career?
A: I became a designer and I am doing my favorite work as a job.
Q: If I were to poll everyone you’ve worked with, what percentage would not be a fan of yours?
A: Maybe 20%?
Q: Were you keen to be selected in the KP Fellowship Program or you just applied scrolling through the web?
A: I really wanted to be a part of the Fellowship Program.
Q: From day one, what were some of the first impressions you hold about the Fellowship program, and what are your views now?
A: I am totally satisfied with this program, I am having a good experience as I was expecting at first.
Q: What project are you working on here? How is it helping you to build your personal and professional capacity?
A: I am working with the Planning & Development Department, and the KPITB Support team, I am gaining a lot of knowledge through sessions conducted within the Fellowship program.
Q: How is your overall experience working in a male-dominant team?
A: The overall experience is good.
Q: What skills do you possess that will most impact our bottom line?
A: My diligence, punctuality, compatibility with others, and teamwork.
Q: How do you deal with different personalities in the fellowship team?
A: I try to cooperate with them through effective communication.
A: How do you define success and how do you measure up to your own definition?
A: In my opinion, success is when our dreams change into reality.
Q: What is your philosophy towards your work?
A: My work philosophy is to manage my work in a timely fashion.
A: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: During my spare time, I enjoy walking, reading books and coding.
