Program Coordinator

Bushra Mustafa

As Code for Pakistan’s Project Coordinator, Bushra Mustafa oversees both the TECH-NIH Fellowship and the KP 
Women Civic Internship programs. In addition to managing these programs, Bushra also coordinates with 
Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to direct the 
development of a surveillance-based application to reports and calculates healthcare associated infections 
(HCAIs). Prior to working at Code for Pakistan, Bushra was the Content Curator/Social Media Executive at 
Maven Logix (Pvt.) Ltd. She also served as Editor for Daastan, a self-publishing platform, and was a Marketing 
Fellow for PITB’s tech accelerator, Plan9, during its 9th cycle. Her journey with Code for Pakistan first began in 
2017, when she was recruited as a Digital Marketing Fellow for the KP Civic Innovation Fellowship Program. She 
is a seasoned writer, and contributes regularly to The News International’s Us Magazine, as well as the literary 
magazine, The Ancient Souls. She holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering & 
Technology, Peshawar and is a Gold Medalist in MS Project Management degree from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali 
Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology, in Islamabad, where she currently resides.
