
Shahzeb is Code for Pakistan's Government Liaison and M&E Associate. As a Government Liaison, Shahzeb liaises with government departments and collects requirements of softwares developed under Code for Pakistan's flagship KP Fellowship Program. As the M&E Lead, he has developed a comprehensive M&E framework for Code for Pakistan, and actively tracks project indicators for each Fellowship cycle. Among the indicators that are actively tracked, Shahzeb specifically focuses on measuring the social impact of the Fellowship projects. This includes technical and managerial efficiency of the projects and interventions produced in client departments/organization, as well as how these technology solutions bridge the gap between the government and citizens.
Shahzeb has experience in software development, M&E and business analysis, specializing in tracking public sector technology projects. Over the last three years, he has collaborated on high-impact projects with multiple private sectors and government departments. He has always had a passion for civic tech and was also a part of the Peshawar Civic Innovation Lab for two years, where he spearheaded projects for a number of government offices. Shahzeb developed a POS system for the Books on Wheels project for the Directorate of Youth Affairs, KP; organized a forms digitization initiative for KP's Public Sector Development Programme; and developed Save the Calf/Poultry Birds distribution projects under the Prime Minister of Pakistan's initiative for agriculture and livestock reforms.
Shahzeb has a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the Sarhad University of Science and Technology, Peshawar.
