Annual Report 2022

2022 has been a year of great accomplishments for Code for Pakistan. Not only did we complete the 7th cycle of our KP Government Innovation Fellowship Program, but we also grew our KP Women Civic Digital Internship Program by 5x, which promotes diversity and inclusivity in one of Pakistan's most conservative provinces, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

We strive to improve public services by creating citizen-centered technology solutions, through collaboration with government and other public entities. But our achievements are not ours alone; they owe much to our incredible community. A notable effort this year was the collective effort of community and our partners on the FloodLight platform. With your support, we swiftly aided those affected by the floods by connecting them with NGOs and aid workers. We sincerely thank our community members for your remarkable role during a time of crisis.

Your belief in our mission opens doors for more people to engage in civic initiatives. Together, through Fellowship programs, civic hackathons, and community-led projects, we can drive positive change and improve government services.

Looking ahead to 2023, it will be 10 years since the birth of Code for Pakistan. It is simultaneously exciting and humbling to think of how far we have come from that first Karachi Civic Hackathon in April 2013. In 2023, besides taking some time to reflect on the last decade of learnings, we are excited for the launch of new initiatives - and we are counting on your partnership and support in creating meaningful impact, together. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to Code for Pakistan's work. Let us make our 10th year the most impactful yet for our communities and people.
