We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Community Manager to lead our efforts in expanding and energizing the Code for Pakistan (CfP) community across the nation. If you're ready to inspire, organize, and amplify the voices of volunteers dedicated to civic tech, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
As our Community Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of cultivating a strong, engaged network of volunteers and partners. Your primary tasks will include:
- Expand & Empower: Grow our volunteer community, especially in smaller towns and villages of Pakistan, to ensure broader representation and engagement in civic tech projects.
- Engage & Connect: Organize meaningful interactions through events, discussions, and mentorship programs, ensuring community members feel valued and connected.
- Foster Collaboration: Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government, civil society, and academia, to strengthen the impact of our initiatives.
- Lead Events & Workshops: Plan, manage, and execute community engagement events such as hackathons, workshops, and roadshows to inspire action and innovation.
- Measure Impact: Measure the impact of community engagement activities by applying both qualitative and quantitative methods, ensuring continual improvement and evidence-based outcomes.
- Champion Feedback: Gather insights from the community to improve our projects, ensuring CfP’s initiatives remain relevant and impactful.
- Create & Share Content: Collaborate with the Communications team to craft compelling newsletters and updates, keeping the community informed and motivated.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in community management, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
- Proven track record of organizing events and building lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A strong outcomes-focused mindset, with the ability to design initiatives and partnerships that deliver measurable impact and sustainable results.
- Passion for civic technology and a general understanding of open source and social impact projects.
