The Private Schools Regulatory Authority is responsible for the regulation and oversight of private schools in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Private schools operating all across KP are required to register with the PSRA and share details of school facilities. Since KP includes districts in remote areas, an online system was needed to enable schools to register with PSRA through a centralised online system. An E-Registration System was developed in the 4th cycle of the KP Fellowship Program. Since its launch in 2019, the PSRA E-Registration System has facilitated the online registration of 9,000 schools across KP, with 5,849 schools renewing their registration.
