In Pakistan, visitors and patients face significant challenges within the complex structures of public and private hospitals. Often, these medical facilities lack adequate signboards or directions, making it difficult for individuals to navigate, especially during emergencies when time is crucial.
To address this pressing issue, a team of Fellows under the 5th Fellowship cycle proposed an innovative solution – an augmented reality-based navigation system. This mobile-based solution aimed to assist the public in navigating through various hospitals seamlessly. By leveraging augmented reality technology, users could easily locate different facilities within both public and private hospitals, thereby enhancing accessibility and significantly reducing navigation time.
